"Po naszymu-complex" - Very interesting concept

Non-standardized “Slavic” varieties spoken there have been variously called Bojko, Hutsul, Lemko, Russian, Rusyn, Ruthenian, Silesian, Slovjak and Ukrainian. Some of these dialects could not even be clearly classified into the Western or Eastern “Slavic” branches, however, let alone be constructed as (part of) a standard language. Since all of these varieties were linguistically related and some of their speakers at different places called them by the handy generic description Po našemu/Po naszymu [lit. “our way”], we will employ that name as a catch-all term for the whole belt.
